The OTHER Metals...

I love sterling silver; shiny, matte and oxidized.

But I also LOVE copper and bronze.

These metals can really bring out the best in your gemstones and beads
with a unique and bold statement. I love using copper and bronze
components to highlight my treasured vintage beads. Using copper and bronze
on modern beads allows for a vintage look as well; this can be very nice!

Ms Belle - Artisan Crafted Fine Jewelry

Ginger, owner and jewelry artisan of Ms Belle- Artisan Crafted Jewelry is an amazing artist with the most fabulous talent. She uses only the finest quality gemstones and she strives for perfection. She will be the first to admit that she will "tear apart a piece of jewelry and start over" if she is not satisfied with the outcome. I came to know her from purchases, including a custom pair of the most radiant silver wire handwrapped labradorite briolette earrings. We chat on occasion on Etsy as we both have shops there. She would love to do something creative for you as she does custom requests. You can visit her at her Etsy store, and view more of her lovely baubles!

Below are examples of Ginger's works of art.

Dawn Habisreitinger; Fellow Etsian, Fellow Friend

Many Etsians, including myself, have been taking part in a great effort to raise money for two sweet boys who lost their Mother just days before Christmas in a horrible motorcycle accident. Dawn made jewelry and lampwork beads. She had a store both on Ebay and Etsy.

She was just getting her life back to normal after having to rebuild her home. Dawn and her boys had to leave southern Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina ripped through the shores of New Orleans and Slidell in August 2005.

We're still working very hard to raise money for these little boys. Dawn would have turned 31 on January 13.

Here is a list of forums we Etsians kept up for this great cause:

2: Purchase any item(s) from Shops that have donated items up for sale on Etsy. Items donated can be viewed by clicking the following link:

3: "Cash" donations can be made by going to the Dawns Boys Fund Paypal address:

Thank you all for viewing this very important posting.

Special thanks go to: Bluesaphire (curator or the Forum), CraftsbyChris, Jenszen, Merkabajewelry, MountainEagleCrafter, Cynmb, SoapyHo, SewingGranny, and everyone of the other Angels that have contributed to this effort.

Happy New Year!

Wow, can you believe it's 2008 already!

It seemed like 2007 went by so fast...but don't the years always fly by? I also hear they go faster and faster the older you get. Lovely.

I opened up my jewelry store, Chloe Boutique, on Etsy on October 1, 2007. I had 129 sales in just 2 months!!!! YAY! I hope that 2008 will bring me lots of luck, lots of sales, and lots of new Etsy friends.
